Shirtless Dinners

This pic gives a really good description of what our dinners are like most nights. We fully understand that nothing says "we're from Alabama" like letting your kids eat dinner every night shirtless. However, I hope this picture would tell the genius involved in slumping to this standard. Tonight we had pasta. By the end of the dinner I was quite sure that Lawson's mouth had found about 2% of the pasta. After cleaning him up I realized that his hair, cheeks (both kind), nose, chin, neck, legs, armpits, eyebrows found the remaining 98%.

Jax & Harley

So we finally got Jax to "hold" Harley. The issue is a 2.5 year old doesn't really have any good infant holding techniques. As you can see in this picture Jax is confident that he is doing nothing less than a perfect job holding his brand new baby sister. However, Harley tells another story. She's probably thinking "why would you do this to me"? We had to snap this photo with little attention given to focus, lighting, or smiles even...

Dad wanted to bring the boys up to see Harley last night. We were so happy to see them. Derek and Lindsey brought tacos. It was fun...and crazy....and loud...and crazy (did I say that?)!
