First time to hold Lawson

Okay, I reached back for these but I couldn't resist having these on the blog . Many of you know that when Lawson was born, Jax was diagnosed with RSV (a resporatory virus). It is highly contagious and very serious if a newborn were to get it. Therefore, we had to keep these two seperated for the first ten days they were together. It was horrible. On Christmas Eve, Jax got to "touch" Lawson for the first time. It was so funny to us and to him. He still likes to hold Lawson but just for a second. Then, he pushes him right off. I wish I knew what Lawson was thinking when Jax has him. God has blessed us with two healthy boys.

Lawson and Jay

Poppi G, Gigi, Alexis and the boys

Again, I'm backtracking a little but I want to catch up and get some of these pics on the blog. This was at Christmas. Aunt Alexis has straight hair again now! But then, she was a curly headed chic!

Lawson & his great-great grandmother

This was Lawson's first visit with his great great grandmother, Mamaw Goggy. She will be 99 on her next birthday . Lawson loved spending time with her a couple of weeks ago.

Aunt Kourtney, Jax & Lawson

This picture is from Christmas , but I don't have any pics on here with the boys and their Aunt, so I'm backtracking some!

Cutie Pie

Snow in Alabama??

As we were packing up getting ready to head out, it snowed in Alabama. Parker came over to help us play in the snow. But by the time naps were done, we only had snow left in the back of Dad's Truck! It was still fun.

Cousin Judd & Jax

Jax loved spending a little bit of time with Judd, Mikki, Charlie and Monica before we left for Texas. Of course, he wanted Judd right away. He loves hanging out "with the guys".

Talking and Smiling

Lawson has started talking and smiling at us beginning last week . He's showing more of his so wonderful personality. I know he's going to be such a joyful little child.

Our Little Boys

Jax loves his brother

We have to watch "Big Brother" at times, but for the most part, Jax has been extremely sweet to Lawson. He likes to give him love them pat him on the back (because he always sees us burping Lawson). It is rather cute.

Lawson

Everyone thinks that Jax and Lawson look so similar , however, Wade and I disagree. Lawson is coming into his own look everyday.

Little Lawson

Okay, for sure he's the most precious thing ever. We love spending time with our newest addition. He's been a dream as we have located to Texas. Jax has had a hard time transitioning to our new home, so its been great to have one child that makes life a little bit easier.

Oh My!

Jax has been making the cutest faces. He thinks he 's So funny, like his Dad. And I am definitely his biggest fan!

"God is Good....All the Time"

"All the Time....God is Good". Why, you ask, do I reflect back on such a "churchy" cliche that we've probably all worked hard to forget? Well, sometimes I need to be reminded that simply... God is indeed good. Nothing has shown His faithfulness like the recent sell of our Birmingham home. In this current market many would consider selling a home equivalent to parting the Red Sea or a favorite Lazarus postmortem moment. For us, God's timing was nothing short of perfection...I know, I know His timing always is.
