Roxie's here!

Roxie came in to spoil the boys...she succeeded! But we sure did miss Jay and Grandpa Jeff.

Chubster!

Seriously, could his cheeks get any bigger?? He will eat absolutely anything we put in front of him (as long as it isn't baby food!).

Lakeline Mall

When my mom came to visit, we took the boys on an outing to the mall here. They have a great little place to play and a few fun rides that grandparents can't resist saying no to! Even Lawson got to enjoy it!

Growing Up!

It is so bitter sweet when I see a picture like this. First, because Jax is being sweet to Lawson (I am happy that all the hard moments are paying off!) Our little boys really are getting so big. When I call Jax my 'baby' boy , He says, "no, Mawson is the baby, I'm the Big Boy!" He can't say L's very good yet, so he always says Mawson (I love it!)

Thank you Poppi G, Gigi and Aunt Alexis!

Thanks to Poppi G, Gigi and Aunt Alexis, Jax has his favorite toy, a train table, to play with at home. He woke up for the first three or four days asking to play with his train table. And anyone that came over, He'd say..."look, train table!" It's still a hit and even Lawson gets to enjoy it! Thanks a thousand times!

It's Party Time!

Jax started out his second birthday celebrating with what else...donuts! Wade took us all to Crown Donuts to have a treat and chocolate milk. As you can see below, Jax and Lawson had a great time. That night, the Mills and Self gangs came over to sing Happy Birthday to Jax and have some cupcakes. We are having a train party for Jax on Sunday, September 21. So, we were just going to do a 'family' dinner at home with the four of us. However, when we came into Jax's room that morning singing happy birthday. He looked around and said "TyBlake"??? For the past few months, whenever we sing happy birthday to anyone, the whole crew is there. So, we couldn't disappoint him on his special day. He was super stoked to have them there when he blew out his candles.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Jaxey!

Wow, time sure flies. So much has happened in two years (september 8), but its still hard to believe we have a toddler. Jax brings so much joy to our lives every day. We never know what is going to come out of his mouth next and we are in awe at the new things he's learning. Parenting is 1000 times better than I'd ever imagined it would be. I thank God everyday for the opportunity to spend quality time with my precious sons. Happy Birthday Jax! We love you.

Rise and Shine!

While Jax is at school, Lawson and Ihave been enjoying some quality time. He's such an incredibly sweet child. Every night Wade and I go in to look at him before we go to bed(we didn't get to do this with Jax because he's a freakishly light sleeper). He ALWAYS has a foot out of the covers. This was a day that I woke him to run some errands before we picked up big bro from school.

First day of school

Jax's first day at Lake Travis United Methodists Preschool was September 2. He goes on Tuesday's and Thursday's and loves it. Of course, as with every other child in this age group, he cries when dropped off and runs to me when I pick him up. But he tells me everyday the things he's learned. He's been singing the song "God is so good" the past couple of days. It's so sweet. His teacher is Ms. Pat and the assistant is Ms. Delia. He stays from 9-2. The first report I got on him was that he was 'independent' and he enjoyed lunch time (sounds about right)! The second report was that he and his friend, Josie, were the leaders in the class! I'll keep you posted as the year continues.
