First time at the Movies

Jax attended his first movie today (June 26, 2008), Charlotte's Web. Aunt Ashley dropped off Gray with me (Gray was a dream to have at my house!) so she could take Tyler, Blake, Sam and Jax to the Lakeway Mall for a free showing. I was hesitant at first, since he's never been. But Ashley said it was a success! Huh, I wish so badly I had a picture. But with everything that was going on, who thinks to send a camera? Ashley got them all there 45 minutes before the movie started to make sure she had a good seat. Then, she headed out to get some popcorn. Jax held the BIG bucket while everyone else dug in! Of course, Tyler and Blake did great at sitting through it. Jax and Sam did as well. Ashley ended up taking Jax and Sam out with only 15 minutes remaining in the show. So, I want to give a big shout out to Ashley for taking on the task and succeeding! Charlotte's Web isn't even animated, so Jax did pretty good, in my opinion. I guess we can say even more that Jax takes after his Daddy when it comes to watching movies!!!

So, I've had a bad day!

Jax was so sick this day. This is a kid that never falls asleep except in his crib and occasionally in the car. He sat down for a minute a good hour before his naptime and he just zonked out. I took him to the doctor the next day and he had to start breathing treatments. They really helped him and now , he's back to his energy filled self!

Tyler - Such attitude!

Does this face say teenager or what? Too bad Ashley and Jeremy have a few more years to go before he's officially a teenager!

Playdate at the Skelton's

It was bittersweet visiting Birmingham a few weeks ago. I was so happy to see everyone. But, I was more sad to leave everyone. Lawson, Jax and I traveled by plane (with onlookers thinking I was a crazy person) to Birmingham. Then, my mom picked us up so we could be in Cleveland for a few days. While in Birmingham, we had a playdate at Chrissy and Derrick Skelton's house with our old small group. I got to meet Hudson and Ava for the first time. It made me so sad that they had both gotten so big before I got to hold them. Jax had a great time playing with the twins, Noah, Caelan and Ella. I'll be posting more pics from my visit later.Kimberly & Lawson Lombard / Becky & Ava Abernathy

Lawson and PRUNES

Lawson loves to eat...just like his older brother. But he loves prunes! Its for sure his favorite. And, Jax has started to want to eat them too!!! This is the wonderful mess we made the first time he ate them.

Lawson's Dedication Day

This was such a special day for our family. When Lawson was born it signified to us a new beginning. Even though I truly find my hope in Jesus Christ. There are days when I look at Lawson and he is my sign of everyday hope. I realize that there is a God that is bigger than any circumstance, any dilemna or any sickness. Looking at this face below helps me remember each day that I should have childlike faith in our God. We are so blessed. God has given us direction and a fantastic business. I could not have planned our life any better.
We chose to have Lawson's dedication at our home instead of a church. Jeremy Self, our brother-in-law did an incredible job. The Lombard crew was all here to celebrate in this spectacular day. You'll see a pic below of everyone praying for Lawson and our family. This picture means so much to me. I know that our family (Wade's and Mine -seperately) pray for us constantly. And I know that our boys will grow up in a household where they are covered with prayer. It is so important.

Lawson - a Southern Boy

Could you eat him up ? Our friends Christy and Durant Maske gave this outfit to Lawson before we left town. It reminds me of home. So, I loved for him to wear it. Not many people around here get into smocked things. But I'm bringing the SOUTH to Austin!

Zilker Park: A Family Favorite

Well, we're finally finding our way to some family fave spots in Austin. One is Zilker Park. It has a natural spring to swim in, a large playground for all ages and this incredible train that the boys love. We pack our lunch and make a day of it there. Jax usually looks a little happier than he looks in the below pic but I had to show you the train!. As soon as we get to the park he doesn't even want to play, he's happy if we just sit on the train to wait on the next ride! We even had to take Mama Don there when she visited. Lawson loves it too. He'll just sit and ride the train with us or hang out while everyone plays on the playground. These are from different visits to Zilker.
