mmm good!

Jax truly enjoyed every bit of his Easter Basket. Lawson is, obviously, to young to even care. But Jax , as you can see below, loved his treats. This was a chocolate covered marshmellow egg. He ate it all in one bite. Never did it even come out of his mouth to take a bite. Lawson did give his mom a treat that night, though. He slept from 7:30 pm-7:30 am!!! We were thrilled. I love that boy!

Jax, Jay and Lawson

Roxy (or Rah-Rah) as Jax calls her and Jay came to visit us in Austin for Easter. It was such a treat to have my family here. We had a great time showing them all to the city.

Are these boys cute or what??

Happy Easter

Easter Egg Hunt

Jax went to his first Easter Egg hunt that he could actually partipate in. It was a little windy outside, so he had to layer it up . Wade took him by himself to some new friends we've met in Austin. He gathered up a few eggs, but mainly he just wanted to run up and down stairs! Needless to say, Wade stayed busy.

Tyler's birthday

Tyler turned 7 and we all attended his Star Wars Birthday Party. This is just our family . With this many boys, theres no reason to have to invite that many more friends. We make up so many! It was fun. Everyone jumped on the trampoline before having Star Wars cupcakes and getting light sabers as party favors! Fun times.

Square Cow Mooving Company

These are the infamous trucks for Square Cow Moovers. We're so pleased with the way they turned out. They have definitely gotten some attention in the town of Austin. The back of the truck is my favorite part but I couldn't get a good pic because of the way the truck was parked. Wade and Derek had their first "Big" move on Tuesday. It was a 3600 square ft. home moving into another 3600 square ft. home (trampoline and piano included). They have some funny stories to tell but we were very proud that they made it through the day with minimal cramping! The customer even called them back yesterday for more mooving! Good job guys!

Austin is agreeing with us more and more

Okay, so it was hard at first. But it is slowly getting easier for all of us to call this great town of Austin home. We really are enjoying the weather (today sunny and 70, tomorrow sunny and 90). I mean , seriously, it's March!) Jax is still going through some 'rough' times with things. So, we're praying that it will become easier each day for him. Maybe its teething (isn't that what all moms say when their child is acting 'different'??)
Lawson is cheezing now everyday. He talks to us all the time and loves to smile! He's my sweet boy.
Then, there's this guy...One minute this is the face I get and the next is a whole other picture that you don't want to see! He's becoming more funny now, though and he knows it.

We're guessing by now that many of you are receiving Lawson's announcement. We know, we know, it is different. Well, that's why we did it. With Jax's birth announcement we asked one of Wade's closest friends, Ryan Hastings, to design. At the time Ryan was working for EA games (one of the largest video game creators). However, we reigned him back by giving him our thoughts and basic direction. For Lawson, we asked him to go wherever he wanted...and he did. We were pleasantly surprised. When Ryan emailed us the announcement he included his reasons for doing what he did...we've included that below.

i hope i didnt go too "out there" for you guys..the concept was this, i chose the picture that had the most personality, then i decided wings would be cool..but then decided to go abstract with that and make them out of tree branches. {1. to make it more masculine, 2. stay away from cliche feather wings} this all came to mind because spring is upon us, as well as the fact that he is a newborn which represents life and growth. so the branches are in bloom with green leaves. the starry sky idea came from his eyes which had blue in them. they looked like miniature solar systems in the reflection of each eye. also space has a very energetic feel and a feeling of the unknown. thought that tied in as well. because his life has yet to unfold.

We hope everyone will celebrate Lawson with us.
