Merely a Flesh Wound
Jax decided that he needed to get down the concrete stairs at Ashley's house very quickly...he was successful. You'll notice quite a large bump on his noggin with scrapes to boot. He's a strong kid though...a few tears and he was back at it.

"Cowah"
The funniest thing happened the other night at Chick-fil-la. It was family night (Tuesday) and we went because they were serving milkshakes for only $.99....as if we need a reason. Jax was sitting there minding his own business and eating his ice dream when the Chick-fil-la cow made his way over to say hello. Jax took one look at the monstrous beast and starting freaking out. Everyone in the place was staring right at us. It was great!!! Jax was given a paper hat and a sticker to calm him down. We came home and took pictures of him and Lawson together. He kept that hat on until bath time. We've heard nothing but "Cowah" ever since Tuesday.
Vvvrrroooommm!
I know you are not supposed to live life through your kids but the older Jax and Lawson get the harder that becomes (and Jax is only 19 months) For instance, I've always wanted to wear anything Harley Davidson...shirt, jacket, chaps (maybe not chaps). The problem is I'm the straighest arrow you'll find. Short hair, tatooless, shirt tucked, etc... In other words, it would be hard for me to pull it off. Jax on the other hand...
Sweeter the better
For those of you that have the pleasure of living in an area where they serve sweet tea...you take it for granted. Our solution is for us to always have a little taste of home in the fridge. At some point Kimberly, being the genius she so obviously is, decided to Jax involved in the process. He is now our official sweet tea maker. He takes all the bags of tea and places them in the measuring cup and then throws the packages away. Well, we have to remind him to throw the packages away...but pretty impressive nonetheless.
Acid Reflux
Perhaps I'm alone in this but I thought acid reflux was a condition felt by middle aged, overweight, stressed out men who followed a plate of hot wings....with, well....another plate of hot wings. Unfortunately, that is not the case. Lawson has been suffering from acid reflux for the past few weeks. I won't share all that comes with acid reflux. However, I thought it was cute when I was trying to click a few pictures of the little guy while Kimberly was burping him. He obviously wasn't in the mood. As you can see on her left shoulder he's showing us what he thinks of my cute little pictures. Way to go Kimberly for doing a little advertising while your at it.
Wet n Wild
For those of you who are unaware of the relationship of these two allow me to steal a minute of your time to explain. Jax and Parker are cousins. The look you see on each of their faces is quite normal. Jax, feeling confident is his obvious size dominance and the fact that he currently holds the weapon of choice. You can almost here the evil laugh as he plans to perpetrate some wrong doing on the poor innocent "Deej" (Parker's nickname).
Then you have Parker; vulnerable, innocent, sweet...and well, scared to death of what is about to happen. Burn these faces in to your memory...we have. Why? Well mainly because these faces tend to lead towards a monumental beating that Jax more than deserves.
